My Senior Sessions

It’s here. Your senior year. You’ve certainly grown into the unique you. There’s no other person who has the same combination of awesomeness… your interests, your personality, the dimple in your left cheek, the way you snort when you laugh. You are you and your senior portrait experience is about showing the world the person you’ve grown to become.

That’s where I come in. My favorite responsibility as your senior photographer is not only to capture the real you, but to also make you smile at yourself when you see your images.
When I see that confidence grow in a young adult, I know my job is complete.
Together we can make your senior photo experience a great one!

every season

is the best season.

different seasons, different vibes

Spring

Spring is such a spectacular season to be photographed in, but few seniors are thinking about senior photos at the end of their senior year. A bonus spring session at the end of your junior year is a great way to jump start your senior photography experience. Think about flowering trees, wild flowers, and rain puddles!

summer

Summer vibes are playful and fun and the weather is bit more predictable. Think of modern senior shoots downtown, dramatic dirt road photos, and the explosion of color in the Sunken Gardens. Summer is my favorite season to do modern twilight sessions downtown because there are fewer people in the Haymarket.

Fall

Fall is the most popular time for senior photos because of the gorgeous trees, plentiful sunflowers, and moderate temps that make it comfortable to combine both summer and fall outfits. The yearbook deadlines through LPS and Lincoln Christian are the end of October, so book your senior session no later than early October. Spots are limited!

Winter

Winter is a spectacular season when very few people are thinking about photography… which makes the photos that much more special. The blue light and starkness are actually quite inspiring and the imagery is poetic. Think about colorful hats and scarves or a romantic look in fur. If you want snow, let's watch the forecast!

It’s shooting day! Review the packing list in the senior magazine to make sure you are prepared. Your session fee will be due when we meet. After shooting, your edited gallery will be available in 2-3 weeks depending on the season. Let’s go!

Review my emailed senior magazine for outfit suggestions, preparation pointers, and more. When you select your final outfits, send me phone pics so we can further discuss order of outfits according to locations.

Complete my senior questionnaire. I’ll email you a fillable pdf that you can email back to me. Your answers help me learn more about your senior’s interests and style so we can together create a shoot that really tells their story. After I receive your responses, I will contact you to further discuss.

Contact me to confirm availability and book a session. You usually need to book 2-3 months in advance to secure a session time.
